October 2008: “Malangan”: a collaborative musical event with John Kennedy and Molly Sturges. Jonas: composer and conductor; small orchestra, UNM Children’s Choir, 2 actors. Built as a disarticulation and recirculation of the images, words, and spaces of the 2008 SITE Santa Fe Biennial exhibition. Performers linked using various compositional means to explore the realms of ephemerality, collaboration and process. Commissioned by SITE Santa Fe, Santa Fe NM.

Intermedia performance created in collaboration with the NM village of Cuba and the Eastern Agency Navaho communities of Ojo Encino and Torreon (NM).
